Course Details
Learn the skills and technologies necessary to become a Front End Software Developer. This 18-week program consists of three 6-week courses: Introduction to JavaScript, Front End Technologies, and Web App Design with React.
After This Course, You Will Be Able To- Introduction to JavaScript:
- Navigate a computer using the CLI
- Utilize source control principles and workflows using Git and GitHub
- Debug source code to fix errors
- Write simple unit tests
- Write Object-Oriented programs using JavaScript
- Utilize intermediate JavaScript functions
- Front End Technologies:
- Structure webpages using HTML
- Style webpages using CSS
- Enhance webpages using Bootstrap
- Build dynamic content using JQuery and AJAX
- Build a fully functioning, front end web app
- Web App Design with React:
- Understanding of how to use npm or yarn to install dependencies
- Create dynamic, single-page applications using React
- Send HTTP request from an application
- Deploy applications to AWS using Elastic Beanstalk
