The series features manufacturing-specific examples, paired with Eastern Iowa Community College's highly rated and in-demand Frontline Leadership curriculum for current, new, or aspiring supervisors and managers; high potentials, leads, and charge staff; and anyone responsible for directing the work of others.

This ten-module program provides a toolkit of practical communication and employee development tools that reduce conflict, improve employee performance, and enhance team effectiveness.

Participants will learn to:

  • deliver clear direction,
  • coach employees, and
  • provide effective feedback.

By the end of the training, they will be able to create a work environment that fosters employee engagement and improves performance.

The class delivery is a virtual format. Each module will have pre and post-work within an online learning portal and a scheduled instructor-led live online (virtual) session.

After This Course, You Will Be Able To
List the skills, behaviors, and attitudes needed for effective leadership / Know when and how to utilize tools for connecting and engaging teams and individual reports / Understand the psychology of employee engagement and satisfaction / Learn specific strategies for analyzing employee developmental needs and how to customize an approach for improving employee performance / Improve your communication skills needed to coach, provide feedback, initiate change, and manage conflict / Identify and create an action plan to develop skills in creating high performing teams
