This course provides a comprehensive

overview of the global supply chain,

exploring the integrated processes used to

plan, source, and deliver products and

services from raw materials to the end

consumer. Students will examine how

firms achieve a competitive advantage

through the strategic synchronization of

supply and demand. Key focus areas

include forecasting techniques to predict

customer needs, supply planning to

ensure resource availability, and the

complex logistics of moving and storing

goods across international borders.

Through case studies and analytical tools,

students develop the skills to optimize

material flows, manage supplier

relationships, and navigate modern

disruptions.

After This Course, You Will Be Able To
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: Define End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Describe basic components, terminology, and various functions Execute Raw Material Sourcing & Procurement: Evaluate supplier selection and negotiation strategies Apply Forecasting & Demand Planning: Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to predict customer demand and improve revenue forecasts Develop Material & Supply Plans: Align manufacturing capacity, labor, and materials to balance demand and minimize waste. Optimize Logistics & Distribution: Identify optimal transportation modes and warehouse operations to ensure cost-effective, timely delivery Evaluate Global Strategy & Risk: Analyze how globalization, international trade agreements, and potential disruptions impact modern supply networks. Measure Performance via KPIs: Apply the SCOR model and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency, cost, and quality across the chain
